DR Congo Update - Ebola

As the CfaN leadership, we have been watching the Ebola developments in the Democratic Republic of the Congo closely and prayerfully.

For the moment, we have postponed the upcoming CfaN Gospel campaigns in the region. We must, of course, work with the local authorities and obey the current restrictions.

But this is only a pause!

We remain ready and eager to preach the Gospel in this region as soon as borders are opened again. As we’ve prayed into this situation, we’ve received numerous prophetic words from around the world, all confirming the same thing: when we go back, the harvest will be greater, and the breakthrough will be bigger. We have been reminded several times of moments in CfaN history, such as Kano in 1991, when it looked like doors had slammed closed to us in Nigeria. But when we went back, what became known as “the Nigerian miracle” took place, with over a million people attending a single service!

So, we are trusting to the Lord’s wisdom and timing for this region of the DRC. As we wait, I ask you not to forget the people there in your prayers. Please pray especially for the local churches as they face this tremendous challenge in their communities. And most urgently, please pray that this virus will disappear in record time so that the doors to this nation can be opened once again.

Yours for the Gospel,

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
(with the CfaN team worldwide)
