Harvest News Blog

Did you know there are outreaches happening daily all over the world, in collaboration with CfaN Evangelism Alliance members? Every week, thousands are choosing Jesus.

Hat Yai, Thailand // Organised by Daniel Smenes

As far as anyone can remember, this was the first outdoor Gospel campaign ever held in the city of Hat Yai, organized by Daniel Smenes (CfaN Bootcamp Graduate) and his team.

The last evangelistic event of this kind took place indoors more than 20 years ago. The Gospel impacted the people of Hat Yai in a profound way.

The Gospel Campaign took place on three nights. The field was filled with hungry and expectant people ready to receive God's amazing love. People streamed forward and many were visibly moved, some standing in tears as they responded to Christ.

Nah came with pain in her chest. She had severe pain when she pressed there. This pain has been there since she was nine years old.

She also struggled with depression and she felt as if something left her during prayer. She felt so incredible after Jesus touched her life.

This lady had an accident two days previously. After a hospital visit, she could not move her legs and her sister had to bring her to the field.

After prayer, she came to testify that she was completely pain free and could move her legs without any difficulty. She burst into tears of gratitude and demonstrated how she could even run back and forth on the platform.

Among the women in prostitution are also so-called "ladyboys" – men who have physically transformed themselves into women and also sell their bodies for money.

During one outreach, our team encountered an 18-year-old ladyboy. He was barely clothed and had no place to sleep.

We told him about Jesus and prayed for him, as he was struggling with great fear and a deep identity crisis. The young man began to cry and gave his life to Jesus. A local church that was accompanying us immediately took him in and gave him new clothes. When we saw him again two days later, he was completely transformed. This young man had a radiant smile on his face.

Man Experiences Complete Freedom

During one of our morning beach outreaches in Pattaya, one of our missionaries met a Thai man adorned with many chains and bracelets. It quickly became clear that he was deeply entangled in sorcery and occult practices. The young man on our team told him about Jesus. In response, the man decided to renounce all sorcery. He took off his chains and invited Jesus into his life. At that moment, he felt a heavy burden lift from him and a new lightness come into his heart.

From Tarot Cards to Jesus

Our outreaches culminated in a large evangelistic open-air event in the city center. The day before, our team walked through the area again to personally invite people to the event. As we did so, we saw a woman sitting on the beach reading tarot cards. At that very moment, the police came and asked her to stop, as it was not permitted. This opened a door for us to start a conversation with her. We told her about Jesus, and she experienced the love of God in a very personal way. Deeply moved, she decided to entrust her life to Jesus, and was filled with a joy she had never experienced before. This woman had been searching, and she found Jesus, the one who loves her soul.

Jesus in the Police Station

During our outreaches in Pattaya, we had the privilege of visiting a police station in the city center every week. Every day, new people were detained there from Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, China, as well as from England and Canada. We brought sandwiches and water to the detainees. After distributing everything, we took time to talk with them and tell them about Jesus. One man from England was particularly moved and decided to invite Jesus into his life. On our next visit, we were even able to bring him an English Bible. It felt as though the heavens opened over those prison cells.

Homeless woman welcomed into local church

This homeless woman gave her life to Jesus at the open-air campaign and was immediately welcomed into a local church. They helped her with a haircut and clothes and made her feel loved and welcomed like never before. She is sitting at the table surrounded by others who are also being discipled by that church since the Gospel Campaign.

Cologne, Germany

On Roncalli Square, right next to Cologne Cathedral, the Good News of Jesus was proclaimed clearly, boldly, and with love.

People stopped to listen and were invited to encounter Jesus personally through drama, dance, rap, and worship. We witnessed God touching hearts, healing people, and transforming lives. Long-term pain disappeared, ears were opened, and people experienced freedom through the power of Jesus. Many made the decision to follow Jesus.

City of Light Berlin 2026

From May 21–24, the large-scale evangelistic campaign took place in Berlin, in which our School of Evangelism students took part, as well as our CfaN Technician Crew.

Over these four days, we experienced God’s work in Berlin. People were touched by God’s love, made decisions for Jesus, and we saw several healings!

School of Evangelism

Our School of Evangelism has officially come to an end.

The students marked this moment with a beautiful graduation filled with gratitude, fellowship, and a final encouragement from Lukas Repert: never give up, even when the road becomes difficult.

Together, they looked back on six powerful weeks of learning, growth, bold steps of faith, and moments where they saw God at work.

We are grateful for each student and proud of the journey they have completed.

Congratulations to all our graduates!

School of Evangelism Outreaches

After four intensive weeks at the School of Evangelism, our students went out to the streets of Berlin, sharing the Gospel every day through one-on-one conversations as well as open-air preaching.

What followed was both humbling and inspiring. Throughout the city, they encountered people from all walks of life—people searching for hope, asking questions, and opening their hearts to the message of Jesus.

As the weeks unfolded, the students witnessed many respond to the Gospel, surrender their lives to Christ, and experience God's healing power. Every day brought new opportunities to pray, encourage, and share the love of Jesus with those they met.

These were not just ministry activities or outreach events. They were moments of genuine encounter—stories of changed lives, restored hope, and the Gospel being carried into the heart of Berlin.

Over the next four weeks, the students will receive a variety of teachings from different speakers.

After that, they will spend two weeks on the streets, putting what they have learned into practice and growing in sharing the Gospel - whether through one-on-one conversations or street preaching.

This is our vision: to invest in and equip the next generation of evangelists!

Fire Camp in Essen, Germany

The Fire Camp in Essen was an intensive week with over 45 participants, filled with training, worship, and genuine encounters with God.

During the outreaches, they witnessed more than 18 decisions for Jesus and had many powerful and encouraging conversations.

A week that didn’t just inspire, but truly brought change and left a lasting impact - both in the lives of the participants and in the lives of the people on the streets.

School of Evangelism – Marseilles, France

The first French School of Evangelism

While this was not a large school compared to others around the world, the group of 14 students was marked by a deep hunger, genuine passion, and a clear calling to serve as evangelists in the French-speaking world. As a team, we were deeply encouraged to witness how grateful the students were for CfaN providing this school to help them step into their calling.

School of Evangelism – Marseilles, France

There were many impactful testimonies from the students’ outreaches in the streets of Marseilles. One student, Julien, shared:

“I had an encounter with a 17-year-old young man from a Muslim background and shared the Gospel with him: the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ, salvation by grace, and a personal relationship with God. He listened attentively, asking sincere questions and showing a genuine openness of heart. As we continued, it became clear that something was happening within him. A growing inner conviction was evident. Touched by the truth of the message, he made a personal and significant decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Pioneering New Territory in 2026

From the start of this year, 34 international evangelists, trained by CfaN, joined forces with local churches to take new ground in Si Sa Ket province in Thailand. Weeks of village outreaches, Gospel Truck pop-up campaigns and youth ministry culminated in a three-day Gospel Campaign in the area’s regional capital, also called Si Sa Ket.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Evangelists from around the world came together to share the Gospel in Si Sa Ket.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Before this outreach push, there were only around 1,000 Christians in this entire province of 1.4 million people!

This is truly pioneering work, sharing the Gospel with people who have never heard it before. Breaking new ground like this comes with many challenges. Evangelist Dieter Wagner shared that when he first started preaching, he quickly realized that he needed to tell the people to open their eyes again after he prayed – they had never heard “amen” before!

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

What a privilege it is to share the Good News of salvation in Jesus with people who – 2,000 years after He came! – have not yet heard it. Wherever the evangelists went, God proved the truth of the Gospel with healing power.

Village Outreaches

Teams went into conducted 92 village outreaches, preaching the Gospel, praying for the sick and casting out evil spirits. Everywhere they went, they were amazed at the openness they found. Many times, they preached the Gospel right next to the local Buddhist temple, as these are the usual gathering places. With the permission of the local head man in each village, they would set up speakers, preach the Gospel and pray for the sick.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Evangelist Chris Cashen spearheaded the village outreaches.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Villagers were also invited to attend Gospel Truck campaigns in their area, where many responded to the Gospel.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Evangelist Diana Wagner shared that this woman, Amnuay, had suffered with heart issues for two years and was on medication. She struggled to breathe. But after they prayed for her, she could suddenly breathe freely and felt completely better.

Thai Christians received Holy Spirit fire

Local Christians went out with every international team of evangelists, and for many of them, this was a life-changing experience. Evangelist Steve Kelly shared that a Baptist pastor who was with them was astounded at the miracles that were happening, and asked Steve to pray an impartation prayer over him. As he began shaking under the power of the Holy Spirit, another local Thai Christian woman was watching. Suddenly, she fell to the ground, speaking in tongues. At first, she covered her mouth in astonishment, having no idea what was happening. A few days later, she was translating for the team, praying for the sick, casting out demons, fully charged with the power of God!

Children and teens touched by God

In every village and town, the team preached to as many children and teens as possible. During 180 youth outreaches, over 12,000 young people responded to the Gospel! Over and over, we saw children visibly touched by the Holy Spirit, moved to tears by the Gospel story.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Evangelist Jazmin Nyiro shared

“One day, the Lord led us to a small village here in Thailand. The whole area was very quiet and looked almost abandoned, but we came across a little school with only 29 students. None of them had ever heard about Jesus before. We decided to share the simple Gospel with them and every one of them opened their hearts to Jesus. As we were praying for the gift of the Holy Spirit, one boy was so deeply touched by the Lord that he burst into tears. When we asked who had experienced something during the prayer, he immediately raised his hand and said he had needed to cry because he felt the love of God. I believe he will never forget this encounter with Jesus and he will be a bright light in his community.”

Number of Christians triples in Si Sa Ket!

After weeks of preparing the ground in Si Sa Ket, the initiative closed with a three-day open-air Gospel Campaign from 13 – 15 February, conducted by CfaN Evangelism Alliance evangelists. Evangelists Kaisa Fischer, Dario Giustino and Diana Wagner took turns preaching the Gospel and ministering to the sick.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

Something wonderful happened on Night One of the Gospel Campaign.

Before Evangelist Dario could even do an altar call, someone came running from the back to give his life to Jesus. And the next thing, most of the crowd left their seats, responding to the Gospel before the invitation! The same thing happened the next two nights. Such is the tremendous hunger for the Gospel we are seeing here.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

1,089 documented decisions (where new converts have given their contact information and been connected to local churches) were recorded during the campaign.

Another 1,220 were recorded in the village outreaches beforehand. That means the number of Christians in the Si Sa Ket province more than tripled! We believe this is the beginning of exponential growth for the Body of Christ in Si Sa Ket.

Thailand // November 2025 – February 2026

On the first night, Somilide shuffled to the campaign, bent over her walking stick.

By her own account, she had suffered terrible pain for years, could not lift her arms nor walk unaided. After prayer, she said all pain left her body. She stood up straight, raised her arms and threw her walking stick away, completely healed!
