Gospel Campaigns in Likasi, Kasumbalesa and Fungurume
CfaN is conducting three simultaneous Gospel Campaigns in the cities of Likasi, Kasumbalesa and Fungurume from 16 – 20 July 2025
This is something you can be a part of! We are here because of the faithful support of people just like you who commit to monthly giving for these campaigns. These campaigns don’t happen because billionaires like the idea! They happen because ‘ordinary’ people who long to see heaven full make a choice to stand with us – and become part of something extraordinary. Please will you ask the Lord about becoming a Monthly Ministry Partner?
Day 5 – Congo
Likasi, Kasumbalesa and Fungurume

Day 5 – Fungurume, Congo
Sheperd Dona testified to a miracle that took place on Friday night. He was at the campaign that night when he felt prompted to video call his brother James, who was four hours away in Lubumbashi (the capital city).

James had been bedridden for a year due to heart problems and severe shortness of breath. As Evangelist Derek prayed, Jesus touched James through the phone! Minutes later, he called back – standing on his feet, breathing freely and shouting, “I am healed!”
Day 5 – Fungurume, Congo
Since 2008, after falling from a guava tree, Junior suffered from hip problems. Even during the preaching at the campaign, he was still in pain.
But during the prayer for the sick, everything changed. Jesus healed him! They tested him on stage by having him bend and jump, and he was able to do it with no pain!
Day 5 – Kasumbalesa, Congo
Rose Mbuyi had never experienced a menstrual cycle in her life. As a result, several marriage proposals had fallen through, which caused great emotional pain.

After Saturday night’s healing prayer, her period began for the first time today. An incredible and deeply personal miracle that will affect her entire life!
Day 5 – Likasi, Congo
In Likasi, Evangelist Esther Tshiumanga described the scene:
“There was an atmosphere of overwhelming joy on the field. You could feel it - in the faces, in the shouts, in the responses, in the dances and in the way the people embraced the moment. It truly seemed the Lord had saved the best for last. So many healing testimonies came pouring in!”
Day 5 – Likasi, Congo
Jean had an accident a few years ago and was left with pain all over his body. The pain was so intense that he didn’t even know where exactly to place his hand during the healing prayer.
As instructed, we told the crowd to place their hand where they had pain, or on their head if the pain was too much to locate. Jean placed his hand on his head. After the prayer, he received his healing. To show the healing, he jumped joyfully!
Day 4 – Congo
Likasi, Kasumbalesa and Fungurume

The fourth night of the campaigns is Holy Spirit Night. This is when the evangelists call on the people to live lives of surrender to Jesus and invite them to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Day 4 – Fungurume, Congo
Evangelist Gary Smith wrote from Fungurume, where he preached last night from Psalm 51.
“As I delivered the Word, it felt as though the Lord held up a mirror to the hearts of the people, revealing what needed to be surrendered and cleansed. The presence of God was so holy, so heavy, you could feel conviction settle across the entire field.
When I shared how King David fell to his knees after the prophet Nathan confronted him, and how he cried out, “Create in me a clean heart, O God,” it was as if the entire crowd stepped into that same moment. I invited the people to call upon the Lord, and all across the field, people dropped to their knees, crying out in repentance, surrendering their lives to Jesus.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!
Following the call to salvation, we began to pray for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. That’s when things shifted dramatically. The atmosphere became charged with the power of God. People were being set free from bondage, many weeping under the weight of His presence, while others were experiencing deliverance and healing. Then, suddenly, a wave of supernatural joy broke out across the crowd. The spirit of heaviness lifted, and what remained was pure celebration – laughing, shouting, dancing and rejoicing all around the field.”
Day 4 – Kasumbalesa, Congo
Jeannette had been experiencing intense pain in her stomach. Eating was a constant struggle — every meal brought pain and discomfort, and she hadn’t been able to eat properly for some time.

But on Day 3, after she prayed, everything changed. The pain left completely, and now she can eat freely without any discomfort! Jesus has healed her! Glory to God!
Day 4 – Likasi, Congo
Mecherina had no strength and had been very sick for two and a half weeks.

She couldn’t even go outside without suffering from body pain. When she saw the posters for the campaign, she remembered how people had been healed at events like this before — so she came. She thought of the Scripture where people were healed when Peter’s shadow fell on them. She said she had faith to be healed if the spiritual shadow of the evangelists would fall on her! During the prayer time, she was completely healed. She jumped up on stage and ran alongside Evangelist Reichör without any pain.
Day 3 – Congo
Likasi, Kasumbalesa and Fungurume

Day 3 – Kasumbalesa
I preached with everything in me, and the response to the Gospel was overwhelming – nearly unanimous.
After the call to salvation, we burned witchcraft items – charms, idols, amulets – casting off every tie to the occult. I broke curses in Jesus’ name and then prayed for the sick. The power of God fell, and miracles broke out.
Day 3 – Kasumbalesa
A local witchdoctor named Kadima Papi came forward with a powerful testimony.
He had suffered from a painful, swollen hernia for four years – so debilitating he couldn’t walk properly or be intimate with his wife. But during the prayer for the sick, the pain vanished and the hernia disappeared! Overwhelmed by what Jesus had done, Kadima renounced witchcraft and surrendered his life to Christ. He left the field healed, delivered, and born again!
Day 3 – Kasumbalesa
Kabwamba was completely deaf in his right ear for 15 years. He often heard disturbing echoes and could not hear anything clearly through that ear.

But everything changed when Evangelist Kolenda prayed for the sick. As the prayer went forth, Kabwamba felt something shift—it was as if his ear suddenly opened. In faith, he tested it by covering his left ear and to his amazement, he could hear perfectly through his right ear no more deafness, no more echo. Jesus healed him completely!
Day 3 – Fungurume
A 3-year-old boy named Prosper had never spoken a word in his life. But after the prayer, he began speaking for the first time! They tested him by asking him to say “Yesu” and count in French – “Un, Deux, Trois” – and he did it with clarity and joy!

Day 3 – Likasi
Evangelist Esther Tshiumanga (a CfaN Bootcamp graduate) preached the Gospel in Likasi.
I loved the connection with the crowd – they were so engaged, so responsive, and truly hungry for a touch from God. I was excited to see the blood of Jesus in action, and how lives would be touched! Then the holy moment came: so many people surrendered their lives to Jesus.

Day 2 – Likasi, Congo
Tonight, as I was interviewing testimonies on the platform, a sudden commotion broke out in the crowd.

People were shouting, jumping, and pointing toward something in the distance. I asked what was happening, and they shouted back, “Mad man!” I said, “A mad man has been healed?” They shouted, “Yes!” So I called for him to come to the platform immediately.
A man emerged from the crowd – his clothes were filthy, his face frozen in shock. I asked him how long he had been like this, and he told me it had been many years. He explained that he used to chase people and attack them without cause. But tonight, he said, Jesus touched him. I turned to the crowd and asked how many of them knew who he was, and hundreds shouted back in recognition and excitement. It was just one of many beautiful miracles that took place tonight in Likasi.
When I returned to the hotel, I saw Gary Smith and Derek Berchie – the team who ministered tonight in Fungurume (the city where I preached yesterday). I told them what had happened. Their eyes lit up. They said the exact same thing had happened in their campaign tonight. A mad man was healed, and the crowd erupted.
Then Bret Sipek, who oversees the entire Congo campaign, leaned over and told us it also happened last night in Kasumbalesa (the city where I’ll be preaching tomorrow). In that case, the man was so tormented he had been physically restrained with chains. After Jesus delivered him, the shackles were cut from his body.
These are not just wonderful testimonies. They're a powerful picture of the Gospel itself.
As Reinhard Bonnke used to say, “The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a Gospel of renovation – it is a Gospel of liberation.”
That’s what we are witnessing here in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These are not just large meetings. Not just a stirring of religious excitement. We are seeing real freedom. Real deliverance. Real transformation. Please continue to pray for us as the fire of the Holy Spirit spreads from city to city and soul to soul.
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
Day 2 – Likasi, Congo
Adel had pain in her elbow for a month, and now she can move it without pain!

Day 2 – Likasi, Congo
Lilly had pain in her hips for 2 years, and after the prayer, she was able to bend over with no pain!

Day 2 – Fungurume, Congo
Since birth, Junior couldn’t see far. But from yesterday to today, his vision has improved, and now he can see clearly! They tested his healing by asking if he could see the Congo flag at the back of the crowd. He answered, “Yes – and it’s moving!”

Day 2 – Congo
Evangelist Rubens Cunha preaching in Kasumbalesa

Day 1 – Congo
Tonight, three Gospel Campaigns launched simultaneously here in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This is exciting new territory for us. Not only have we not been here before, but these cities were literally villages just a few years ago – the population has exploded. With every step here, we are possessing new ground, in Jesus’ name.
Day 1 – Fungurume, Congo
I had the privilege of preaching in the city of Fungurume.
On the hour-long drive to the campaign field, we passed through Likasi – where I’ll be preaching tomorrow night – and passed advertisements for upcoming CfaN campaigns scheduled for next week and next month, all in this same region. The atmosphere is electric. There’s a sense that something historic is happening. This land is ripe for a massive harvest.
Day 1 – Likasi, Congo with Evangelist Manuel Reichör
In Likasi, something else new and beautiful was happening. The main languages in DRC are Swahili and French, not English. Usually, the preaching is in English, translated on stage.
But tonight, Evangelist Manuel Reichör (a CfaN Bootcamp graduate from France) preached in French! He tells me that from the first sentence he spoke, the response was loud and enthusiastic. But as he preached, complete silence fell on the field, the crowd hanging on every word. When he gave the altar call, the field was a sea of raised hands.
Day 1 – Likasi, Congo
A young girl, Tekra, hadn’t been able to hear from her right ear for 7 years.

She was healed, and Evangelist Manuel tested it by whispering into the ear she couldn’t hear from before. She repeated what he said: “Jesus,” “Jesus loves you.”
Day 1 – Kasumbalesa, Congo
Over in Kasumbalesa, where Evangelist Rubens Cunha preached, the crowd was overwhelmingly made up of young people.

They were so eager to hear the Gospel, they filled trees around the field. Despite their youth, they listened with the same reverence and attention. Many gave their lives to Jesus, and there were wonderful miracles – a great first night. The town must be buzzing today! I’ll be there on Friday night.
