A personal note

Our lives exist for one reason

From the day of our birth to the day we die, our lives exist for one reason – to glorify God. It is not about us. It is all about Him. God uses our lives as a platform from which He desires to receive praise and glory.

The philosophy of the age is the spirit of humanism, which teaches that the chief end of all being is the happiness of man. But Scripture teaches the opposite. Revelation 4:11 says that we were created for God’s pleasure. 1 Corinthians 6:20 says, For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Take divine healing, for example; every person who is supernaturally healed is still going to die one day, so someone might ask, “What is the point?”

The real “point” and “purpose” is that God might receive praise as a result. For this reason, our problems do matter and even have eternal significance, because God’s glory is a matter of eternal importance.

We’re pausing today to send this letter and express from our hearts just how much you matter to this ministry. Your gifts and prayers of support do make an eternal difference.Together, we’re involved in winning souls and building God’s Kingdom – and it truly matters more than you may realize.

Scripture tells us about a few books that are in Heaven. One is called “The Book of Life” (Revelation 20:15) and another is, “The Book of Remembrance.” (Malachi 3:16)

There are also other books mentioned in Revelation 20:12. I can picture one of God’s books looking something like a picture album. In this book, we can envision millions of recorded moments in human history.

We can easily visualize that there are clear images of...

  • Noah building the Ark
  • Abraham, as God made a covenant with him
  • Jacob wrestling with the Angel of the Lord
  • Moses leading the Children of Israel out of Egypt.
  • Peter walking on the water.

Imagine there are pictures from your life, doing something that required you to trust God, step out in faith and obey Him even when you didn’t totally understand. A moment when you did your best in the face of doubt, defeat, ridicule, past failures, and negative opinion.

These are those times when you take a fresh grip on the life-changing fact that our feelings, emotions, wants, desires, and pleasures are ultimately meaningless compared to what really matters – God’s Kingdom and His eternal glory.

That’s why the CfaN team is 100% committed to winning souls; to praying and preaching the Full Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

This is why we always consider it a ministry privilege and solemn responsibility to make sure we intercede for you and your needs. And not just that your temporary life will be blessed but also that you may be a living testimony for God’s enduring Kingdom. May it be proclaimed, promoted, advanced and multiplied through the way He openly and boldly goes to work on your behalf.

And when it comes to the prayerful support of this ministry, we are so deeply thankful. We thank God for every donation, every recommendation you pass on, every link, every way in which you make others mindful of our ministry.

At this moment, the Great Gospel Campaign in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, has just finished, and the technical team is once again on the way back to Lagos. The campaigns in Port Harcourt and Owerri in Nigeria lie just around the corner. We’ve taken on a tremendous task, and expect hundreds of thousands of newborn Christians who, thanks to our follow-up system, will find permanent homes in the local churches there.

It’s all about glorifying the Name of the Lord in each one of these places.

Yours in the Gospel,

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

with the international CfaN team

P.S. We would greatly appreciate it if you would pray about giving financial support, particularly for these vitally important events that lie before us. Thank you so much for your faithfulness and commitment… and of course, for every prayer, which is just as important to us as a donation.

Since you excel in so many ways—you have so much faith, such gifted speakers, such knowledge, such enthusiasm, and such love for us - now I want you to excel also in this gracious ministry of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7
