School of Evangelism Germany
European Evangelists in Action
The family of evangelists in Europe is growing, and we are ready to reach this continent for Jesus! Our first School of Evangelism in Germany was even better than we imagined. The students graduated full of expectation and passion because they personally experienced God’s power to save and heal. They had so many outreach testimonies, we could hardly keep track. Legs grew out, pain left, depression turned to joy, and many received Jesus as Lord – all on the streets of Germany. The SOE is only the beginning. Students are now part of a global network of evangelists co-laboring for the harvest.
We asked the students for feedback and the responses were outstanding. They feel equipped to preach the Gospel, had encounters with Jesus, and became a family ready to reach the lost together. They all agreed that their lives will never be the same after completing the SOE. One student said, “I won’t stop telling people about Jesus! No one can take away this fire that has ignited within me here – it will only grow stronger!”
The vision for the SOE is directly connected to Evangelist Daniel Kolenda’s vision for the Decade of Double Harvest: multiply and collaborate. God is moving in Europe, and our Bootcamp graduates are doing incredible initiatives. They are having large campaigns, leading Fire Camps, training churches for evangelism, and more. We’re seeing miracles, healings, and salvations in Europe just like we do in Africa. As the work expands, we understand what Jesus said in Matthew 9:37, “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Our desire is to train many laborers. We can accomplish so much more when we work together!
The SOE is not your typical Bible school. CfaN evangelists are giving their entire lives for the Gospel, and that is the calling we invite our students into. There’s a worship song we love to sing that expresses our movement very well. The Missionary Anthem lyrics say, “Jesus, You're worthy of every tribe and tongue. It’s all for Your glory till every soul is won. The harvest is ready, we have to go, we won't stop till the whole world knows.”
Our model: theory and practice
The SOE model of training is unique and effective. Our 81 students went through a comprehensive curriculum covering all aspects of evangelism. We learned from some of the best evangelists worldwide, including Daniel Kolenda, Levi Lutz, Brother Yun, Jean-Luc Trachsel, Ben Fitzgerald, and many CfaN leaders. Each teacher shared wisdom and experience gained from decades of ministry, then we had deep times of impartation prayer. The students ran to the altar committing to the call of God on their lives.
We also had practical sessions taught by our Bootcamp graduates. We covered topics such as preaching the Gospel, praying for the sick, leading testimony times, planning campaigns, fundraising, and more. The methods taught were then demonstrated. Next it was the students’ turn. They practiced and were coached on their new skills. This model of learning, seeing, and doing prepared the students well.
That brings us to the next part of the SOE, outreaches. The students evangelized all over Frankfurt and Hanau multiple times a week. Then the SOE finished with a two-week initiation trip to the Lake Constance region. Students preached the Gospel on the streets, did one-to-one evangelism, and prayed for people. Bootcamp graduate leaders coached the students to sharpen their skills. Over the eight weeks, 1,096 people made decisions for Christ with 400 giving their contact information for follow up.
Testimony Time: Healings and salvations on the streets
He stopped to listen to a preaching on healing. Students prayed and his knee and hip pain were completely healed!
Because we came on this SOE initiation trip, these three young people heard the full Gospel and the good news that Jesus really loves them! We invited them to Nights of Hope.
Our students shared the Gospel using the Jesus at the Door app, a great tool for one-to-one outreach.
She was completely healed from all her knee pain! Then, with tears running down her face, she received Jesus as Lord and experienced a peace she had never felt before.
She had lung damage, COPD, and trouble breathing. She was hopeless and depressed. Jesus touched her powerfully with His love. She could breathe and felt peace in His presence.
Nights of Hope
Nights of Hope – 219 Documented Decisions for Christ
The SOE ended with the Nights of Hope Gospel Campaign in Friedrichshafen. This was a collaboration initiative led by Bootcamp graduates David Rotärmel (Reviving the World) and Lukas Repert (God’s Power). CfaN provided the sound and technical equipment and team. Our SOE students served in many areas – there is nothing better than on the field training.
Nights of Hope truly brought hope to the region. The event was in a public park with four glorious nights of worship, preaching the Gospel, praying for the sick, and bringing freedom. Many people were saved, healed, and delivered every single night. The Gospel is powerful! Many churches joined the initiative and committed to follow-up discipleship.
School of Evangelism – 400 Documented Decisions for Christ
This was the first SOE in Europe, but it’s only the beginning. As this family of evangelists grows, we will continue having initiatives across Europe. God will get all the glory! If you’re reading this report and your heart is burning for the lost, we want to invite you to join us. Our next SOE will start in April 2024 in the UK. Then we will be back in Germany in September 2024. We will continue to raise up evangelists in Europe for Europe and preach the Gospel with signs, wonders and miracles. And we will see a mighty harvest in this continent for the glory of God!
Thank you for your support. We could not do this work without our faithful partners praying and sowing into the harvest. You are an integral part of this mighty move of God in Europe.
Together with you for the Gospel,
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
