Standing on a New Threshold

Every “new year” brings with it the excitement of “new” opportunities and “new” horizons, but also “new” challenges. Now that we stand on the brink of 2017, we look ahead and see the greatest opportunity ever to reach millions with the good news of the Gospel.

Although CfaN holds many Gospel Campaigns and conferences each year by God’s grace, every one of them is burned into our memories and lives. Without exception, we see the hand of the Lord sweep through each meeting uniquely with salvation, healing and restoration. There is no greater privilege than to see the lost transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It is remarkable to see each coming year change from a distant calendar number into a “now” season filled with God’s “good works prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Eph 2:10). We are always excited to watch the empty months brim with new names and places that have been on His calendar since time began, waiting only for someone to rise up in obedience and take the Gospel to a needy world.

We are so thankful to be among such people. And when I say “we,” I mean the whole CfaN team and every single partner who stands faithfully with us to make our mission possible.

Together we make a mighty force in God’s kingdom that is reaping a huge harvest of souls!
We cannot and will not relax our efforts in Jesus’ name.

Now the “new threshold” of 2017 is upon us. Our planned events range from many Gospel Campaigns to Fire Conferences, Schools of Evangelism, a special trip to Israel in June (with many well-known international speakers) and meetings across the world. As we look ahead to this great scope of ministry, we are determined to rise up, meet the challenge and move ahead for the salvation of souls. What else can we do? For the “fire burns in our bones” to declare the Gospel and see peoples’ lives changed for eternity.

Many people stand at such a New Year threshold and wonder what will happen to them in the year ahead. But we have no such wondering. The only question we ask is, “Will we be able to bring in the full harvest of souls in the coming year?” Then we hear the words of the saints who have gone before us, and the voice of the Lord himself, urging us to preach the word in season and out of season (2 Tim 4:2). That is our joy in the upcoming year.

Thank you for your prayers, support, donations, and partnership. Together let’s make 2017 a year of huge victories for the kingdom of Jesus Christ!

May God bless you this entire New Year,
