Happy New Year!
My wish for 2019 for you
Firstly, this is the most important thing I can possibly pass on to you for the beginning of 2019: With all my heart, I wish you God’s overflowing blessing in every area of your life, in your every circumstance and for your loved ones. I wish you a year in which new doors open for you, and in which you experience the goodness of the Lord in a truly special way, deeper than you’ve ever known before.
On that note, I’d like to encourage you to bring your personal prayer requests to us at any time – by post, by email, through our website or on our answering service. We will so gladly pray for you. It’s a way that we can express our deep gratitude for your support, your intercession and your sharing in this vision.
There’s another wish that’s just as important to me. With all that is within me, I pray that this new year will again be a tremendous year of harvest for our Lord! Because that is and always has been the very heartbeat of CfaN!
When I look back at 2018 – and it’s just a few hours behind us now – I am truly thankful. It was an amazing year. We were able to declare the Gospel to so many people again, in Jesus’s name. We witnessed how hundreds of thousands accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, how they were healed, set free and filled with the Holy Spirit. Let me put it like this: What we experienced is fruit that we’ll see again in eternity.
2019, the year that lies ahead of us, is another period of grace and we want to “make the most of every opportunity”, as Paul says in Ephesians 5:16. We want to press forward with all our might to see how the continent of Africa – and indeed the entire world – is ever more touched and changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
If you know us, you know that we always think big, set big goals and don’t shrink away from huge challenges. Neither financial hurdles nor plenty of work can stop us. “Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
Alongside many other smaller meetings, services, events and conferences for 2019 – including “Fire19” in Hamburg, which will be a real milestone, so you should definitely plan for that early – we’ve planned Great Gospel Campaigns in:
Add to that the upcoming “Awakening Europe” in Vienna, a new Israel Tour, the “School of Evangelism” and, and, and …
The campaign in Lomé, Togo is already happening in a few weeks, and our technical team will shortly be getting on the road again to prepare everything there as usual. It may sometimes seem so easy when you just see the pictures from our African events, but in truth, it is a miracle every single time when, often under the worst of conditions, everything is ready in time to preach the Good News. It’s not only the journey with all its obstacles – no doubt you remember the Travel Blog of the journey to Brazzaville in May 2018 – but especially the set up on sometimes extremely unsuitable or muddy ground, the challenges the weather gives us, technical problems, attacks on the team’s health, or getting the right permits locally and so on, all of which challenge us anew every time. But every time, the Lord has bestowed His grace on us and that’s how it will be for every campaign that lies ahead of us!
As you see – there’s a lot to do in 2019! We continue to push forward with the task that the Lord has given us and we rejoice – together with you – at the victories that lie before us for the Kingdom of God.
With this in mind: A Happy New Year!
with greetings from the international CfaN Team
